Our ballet’s new mixed program presents a series of dialogues about love and harmony, revealing the quintessence of human relations in all their complexity, diversity and emotional intensity. In his Variations Vladimir Burmeister shows a poet dreaming about an ideal woman. Jiří Kylián’s Petite mort is about the eternal relationship between love and death, coming together at the highest point of love ecstasy. Finally, the Duets provide an opportunity to satisfy the curiosity of the audience. This seemingly eclectic selection shows various facets of our soloists’ creativity.
