The premiere of the ballet Through the Looking Glass by choreographer Konstantin Semenov will take place on the Small Stage.
The new performance, which is also being worked on by composer Vasily Peshkov and artist Maria Tregubova, is based on the motives of the fairy tale “Through the Looking Glass”. The directors do not set themselves the task of illustrating the text. Their goal is to search for the scenic equivalent of a literary structure, immersing the viewer in the space of interpretations and meanings.
Dear viewers, we ask you not to be late for the beginning of the “Through the Looking Glass” ballet. We remind you that after the third bell, the admission of people to the hall is terminated.
The ballet runs 70 minutes without intermission. Latecomers will not be able to enter the auditorium.
As a precautionary measure, we would like to inform you that a smoke machine will be used during the performances of Through the Looking Glass.
